Spots and invites
A spot is a place you share with your group: a park, a gym, a cafe, an event venue. People join through an invite link, a QR code, or an invite code. If the spot requires approval, the owner reviews the request before someone joins.

Check-in statuses
A check-in is shared for that day only. It disappears automatically after a while, so nothing is left behind.

Can I share where my friends are without using GPS?
fUat does not share your live location. The only thing shared is the status you tapped yourself: Going, Here, or Was here.
How is this different from a location sharing app?
It does not show real-time location or movement history. fUat lets invited members lightly share what is happening at a spot right now, and nothing more.
How is this different from asking "Anyone going today?" in a group chat?
In a group chat someone has to ask, and someone has to answer. With fUat each person simply leaves Going or Here on a spot, on their own schedule. Nobody waits for a reply and nobody is obliged to answer. Chat messages stay; fUat statuses disappear after a while.
How is this different from a scheduling app?
Scheduling apps collect everyone's availability so you can pick a date. fUat never sets a time. Each person goes to their usual place on their own schedule, and you only share the chance of being there on the same day.
Can someone who was not invited join a spot?
People who were not invited cannot see the spot. Joining requires an invite link, a QR code, or an invite code. If the spot requires approval, the owner reviews the request first.
Can I track where a specific friend is?
No. fUat cannot track a specific friend's location. Inside a spot you were invited to, you can only see the Going, Here, or Was here statuses posted for that spot.
Can I use it to meet up at a playground or a kids' class?
Yes. Parents can share that they are already there, or heading over, at a playground or a regular class location. The app itself is not intended for use by people under 13.
How long does a check-in stay?
Going disappears after 3 hours, Here after 2 hours, and Was here after 30 minutes. Premium lets you extend the remaining time on Here.
What does Premium add?
Premium adds push notifications, comments on check-ins, longer Here durations, a higher limit on spots you own, and no ads. See the Premium help for details.
