Child safety standards
fUat strictly prohibits posting or spreading child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) content, and operates the service so that young people can use it safely. This page sets out our policy and the process we follow when a violation occurs.
1. Minimum age
The minimum age for fUat is 13. People under 13 may not use the service. This follows the international rating standard (IARC: Teen 13+).
2. Prohibited conduct
The following is strictly prohibited on fUat. Once confirmed, we suspend the account, remove the content, and report to the authorities where required.
- Posting sexual remarks, images, video, or any other content involving minors
- Grooming a minor (building trust in order to approach or manipulate them)
- Sharing or collecting a minor's personal information (real name, address, school, contact details) without their consent
- Threatening, harassing, or sexually soliciting a minor
- Posting, sharing, or trading CSAM (child sexual abuse material)
3. Safety features available to you
fUat has the following safety features built in:
- Invite-only spots: joining a spot is only possible through an invite code. There is structurally no path to contact with strangers.
- Approval: a spot owner can approve or decline each request to join.
- Reporting: from the "⋯" menu in the member list, you can report inappropriate behaviour or a CSAE concern at any time.
- Blocking: you can block any user so their posts no longer appear for you.
- Account deletion: you can delete your account and data at any time from My Page (details).
4. How we respond to a report
When we receive a report about child safety, we follow this process:
- We review the report within 24 hours.
- If a violation is confirmed, we remove the content immediately and suspend the offending account.
- For CSAM or cases where serious abuse is suspected, we report to the authorities in line with the law of each country (in Japan: the National Police Agency and ICAC; in the United States: NCMEC).
- Where needed, we take further steps to protect the safety of the victim and the person who reported.
5. Compliance with applicable law
fUat complies with the laws protecting children in every country and region where the service is offered. Principal examples:
- Japan: the Child Pornography Prohibition Act — the Act on Punishment of Activities Relating to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography, and the Protection of Children
- United States: the PROTECT Act, and 18 U.S. Code § 2258A (the duty to report to NCMEC)
- EU: the GDPR, in particular its provisions on protecting minors
- Other applicable laws in the regions where the service is offered

Response: we review a report within 24 hours and begin any necessary action within 48 hours.
If the situation is urgent — for example a report involving direct danger to a child's life or body — please also contact your local police or child protection service directly, alongside contacting us. In Japan, the child abuse hotline is 189.
